Jack opened the door to the comfortable familiar sight of his butler with a pitcher of milk. He thanked Cain and went to the throne room with his new book to see what would be on his records today
-
Mildred huffed and brushed the knots out of her hair as best she could, then walked down to the library.
-
Jack looked through the files. As usual, it was boring reports. The good side was that his people were happy at least. He read a bit more on the newest red haired vampire, he seemed to be doing well.
-
Mildred looked around the library. A bunch of the bookshelves had been taken out, probably to look for Frederick.
-
Jack decided to get back to the last unicorn. The harpy killed an evil witch and the unicorn left the carnival with the loser wizard.
-
Mildred grabbed her book and sat down on the armchair, pulling up her legs and crossing them.
-
Jack was fixated on the book and it's beautiful writing. The unicorn and the practicing wizard were caught by bandits.
-
Mildred eventually put down her book and looked around. She walked through the castle and found an exit to the gardens.
-
Jack kept reading and was enthralled by the colorful story. The unicorn and the wizard had picked up a bandit woman and were on their way to the land of a mysterious king haggard.
-
Mildred walked through the gardens, and couldn't tell if she found it more beautiful or scary at night. She could barely see 5 metres in front of her.
-
As darkened as Jack's garden was, there were fireflies that spread far through the garden and the wild blooming moon flowers were lovely when seen. There were lamp posts that would be lighted by a well built contraction. Jack continued reading excitedly
-
Mildred walked through the garden, fascinated by the landscape. She wondered what the garden looked like during the day.
-
Jack continued reading the book, a fairly terrifying experience had just taken place as the unicorn, a powerful graceful, immortal beast was turned human. Jack was in anguish with this unicorn as she felt the rot of humanity. Meanwhile the garden saw an influx of beautiful and graceful moths.
-
Mildred looked around, noticing the moths. She didn't want to wake up with a spider web on her face again so she jumped up and tried to catch one in her hands.
-
The moths avoided Mildred's capture skillfully however she did catch a lightning bug. Jack shut his book in anguish. He couldn't bare reading of the unicorn's painful unhappiness. He still was interested in the book though, he had to read of king haggard. He hadn't felt this thrilled by a book in a long time.
