The doctor nodded again and scribbled on his clipboard. Anne squeezed Lily's hand

He took a few more details which she could answer more or less until he asked her where she lived. Lily looked flustered. "Well I'm staying with Anne, my parents are on a buisness-"
"Very well, but what is your address?" -
'Why do you need to know that?' Anne asked, a small frown furrowing her brows. It was a valid quest, she thought.

"So I can send a letter of the details and prescriptions to her parents" he replied.

'I can take it to them,' Anne suggested. 'It's more efficient.'

"That's very kind of you dear, but I need to send this letter to her father" the tone he used suggested that he would not be persuaded to do anything but post the letter to Lily's correct address. But she couldn't reveal way she lived, they'd send her to the workhouse, surely..

'17 London Avenue,' Anne said, giving him her own address. She'd just have to be there when the letter arrived, she decided.

Lily nodded frantically, even though she wasnt sure if that address was a real one or not.
The doctor furrowed his brow and then left the room.Lily sighed in relief, her shoulders slackening. -
Anne smiled and looked back down at Lily. 'Are you feeling alright?' she checked.

Lily nodded. "Just a sort throat, and it's roasting in here" she exclaimed taking off the blankets on her bed.

Anne pulled the blankets down to the end of the bed. 'The doctor did say you have a fever,' she said.

Lily nodded. "What address did you give to the doctor?"

'Mine,' Anne responded.
