Anne smiled. 'Good,' she said with a small giggle. 'And I won't.'

"I'm sorry, I-, I didn't even know what I was doing"

'It's fine,' Anne said. 'So long as you're OK?'

"Guess we'll find out" she croaked. "Please, water?"

'Of course!' Anne said, gently setting Lily's head on the ground and rushing to the tap. 'Here you go.' She sat back down, this time next to Lily and handed her the glass.

Lily took the glass and took large gulps of the fresh water. "I've never had clean water before, thanks" she smiled sipping at it.

'Never?' Anne said in disbelief. 'No wonder you're sick!'

"I've never really had water other then rain water. I lived of beer for a while, it's horrible tasting stuff"

'Disgusting,' she muttered, referring to the beer. After a pause, she said, 'If you don't mind me asking, why did you get so worked up about the doctor?'

Lily bit her lip anxiously. "I-" but she was cut off by Anne's mother returning with the doctor. She let out a little whimper and clung onto Anne's hand.
"Now Anne, go and make the doctor a cup of tea" -
'OK,' Anne said, moving to stand up, but Lily's grip on her hand stopped her.

"Don't leave" she whispered. "You promised.."
Mariella sighed. "Anne, now" she snapped. "Lily you will be okay" -
Anne shook Lily's hand off and whispered, 'You'll be fine,' then hurried upstairs to make the tea.

Lily stared at the manin front of her. He was tall, with a white blazer, a smart blue shirt and trousers. Lily gulped nervously.

Anne made tea in the kitchen as fast as she could. She was hurrying so much she accidently overflowed the cup with milk, so she had to start over.
