@Teresa I know Not everyone chooses to get pregnant, but if you do end up pregnant, and it could have been prevented, then it is your fault. Sometimes things happen, and condoms break or birth control doesn't work, but that is part of the risk in having sex, and by having sex you are accepting the outcome of whatever happens, and having an abortion is breaking that acceptance and it is basically cheating or taking the easy way out... If that makes any sense to you :)

@Sam Rape also happens. It's 100% not the victim's fault because the sex wasn't expected. And if something does go wrong (broken condoms/birth control) it's not really anyone's fault either because they still didn't choose to be pregnant. They should have the option to get the cells out.

@Teresa Rape is a whole other story and I have no opinion of that. I totally agree with you on the fact that it isn't a 100% the victims fault. But people know that condoms and birth control not working are possibilities. Things like that happen all the time. Sex is risky, protection or not, and I am a firm believer in the fact that you own up to your actions. Just because you don't want a baby does not mean abortions are the right way to go. In my opinion I think of it as murder.

@Sam So according to you, "murder" is okay depending on the circumstances? Either way if you believe in god or whatever, it's not you that would go to "hell" for getting an abortion. You don't need to get one and it doesn't concern you so why take that option away from others?

@Sam but if you consider abortion murder than you do accept it under some conditions.

@Teresa I do not accept it, I just do not see it as exactly the same. It is more tolerable, but still not condoned by me.

Fetus is not a person therefore abortion is not a murder.

The fetus usually starts kicking in the late months, around 7 to 9. Few people wait to abort the fetus at that point.

Even if you got raped the hospital will not make you pay for having the baby! My cousin Emily got raped and the hospital didn't make her pay for the baby! And even if you do get attached to the baby, and give it up for adoption, you can see the baby whenever you want! It's not like that baby is shut out of your life. But if you do kill the baby then it's shut out of your live forever. I know what you guys have been saying "it's not devolprd yet so we can kill it.
