"Considering ange might one day become a mum I think her oppinion on a mothers oppinion beats yours vic. "
So could I, but I guess my opinion doesn't matter as much? -
Vik --- your post on page 3 is basically saying this:
It's not the child's fault that they were born so lets just kill it so it doesn't have to love in this world.
Vik, your argument is just stupid. I'm sorry but it is.
First of all, she will be able to see the child again, after adoption.
Basically what your argument is saying is "She should be able to kill it before she sees it so she doesn't start to love it."
Kill a child so you don't start to actually care for it and miss it? But otherwise it's okay because she hasn't seen it/ felt it/ heard it/ whatever so it's okay if it gets murdered.
In that case, is the abortion more for the mother or the child?
Actually think about what I'm saying here.
And yes sex education should be taught as well.
Our schools really need that.
Carri --- what you were saying about making it illegal will make it more dangerous.
True. Very true. But that is just people being dumb and we can't really stop this.
Now I know you're going to say "Yes we can! By making abortion legal."
Haha. That's not going to stop people from murdering their babies. Yes, maybe murdering babies will be done in a safer way, but babies are still being murdered. So why will making abortion legal really do? It will make America a place where murder is considered okay. I, for one, would not be that proud to be an American.
Sorry I have to bring religion into this again, but religion just can't be left out based on my argument here. The whole thing about "accidents happen. Condemns would be murder too." Here is what I have to say about that:
Everything happens for a reason. So if that accident happens, hen it was meant to be. That child has a place here on this earth.
And to go farther into religious depth:
That child belongs to God, not you. It is not "part of your body". It is a life that God created and made a place for on this earth. -
I think if you don't want an abortion, don't get one. I know plenty of Christians who would never get an abortion but support other people's rights to.
-
I don't support other people's rights to murder God's creations.
-
I don't think people should bring religion into politics. I've known people who are religious and think gay marriage should be legal even if they personally don't approve of it.
-
The only reason I live for is my religion.
All of my opinions are based off my religion.
All of my judgments.
My entire world is based off my religion.
I have no opinion on anything without it being about my religion.
I can't honestly say that I support other people's "rights" when those "rights" go against the bible. I can't stop his s--- from happening, but when I get a chance to share my opinion and someday vote, I'm going to try. I'm not going to vote for something that's against my religion, just because most people don't have he same religion and it's their choice.
No. When I vote it's my choice. And I'm going to choose based on my religion.
And I'm going to express my opinions based on my religion. Even if others don't have the same religion---that's not going to make me vote for their side, just because "politics and religion shouldn't mix".
Otherwise I may as well just be dead because that's all I live for in this world. -
So by supporting abortion, I wouldn't be supporting "people's choices" or their "rights". By supporting abortion, I would be supporting something against my religion.
Now take the religion part out of that.
That leaves me with nothing. -
People's rights doesn't mean just you and people who believe the same thing as you. If you chose not to get an abortion that's your choice. But is it fair for someone else to be excluded that right? No, it's not. People can do what they want with their bodies and it doesn't really concern you whether they go to "hell" or not.
-
If I can make an effort to stop them from going to hell, I'll try. I'll vote no to making abortion legal and I'll protest against it.
-
Thing is,not everyone believes in God.You have to respect everyones beliefs.I kinda agree with Teresa about not bringing religion into politics because everyone has different religions, with politics we need to think what is good for everyone regardless of religion.Besides, its not like abortions will ever be made mandatory, that would be just wrong, its an option. What you think is right might be so wrong for another person. You have to understand that not everyone thinks like you.
-
I understand that. But when I go to vote (pretending I'm old enough and that there's an abortion vote going on right now) I'm not going to vote to make abortion legal and think to myself "Well not everyone has the same religion as me so that would just be wrong of me to vote no even though that is what my religion says to do"
If they have different beliefs than me, they can vote yes. Why is it wrong of me to vote no? -
You can vote no if you want, what I was saying was just sorta a 'look at it this way' kinda thing.
-
Ok......

In my opinion if you are stupid enough to get pregnant when you do not want a baby, you just at least give the baby life and at the least find a loving home for the child. The child should not have to suffer for your stupidity. But that is just me.
