'I'm okay, promise,' Hazel said, forcing a bigger smile.
-
Max shrugged. "Fine." He didn't sound convinced.
Theo could tell it was a fake smile and frowned. -
Hazel leaned back in the couch. 'So, what are we watching?'
-
"How about Inside Out?" Theo asked. "To prepare for the sequel?"
-
'Sure,' Hazel said, chuckling. 'I totally haven't rewatched that, like, five times with Lilla.'
-
Theo chuckled. "We can watch another classic instead..."
-
Max rested his arm on the back of the couch behind Hazel's head. 'Who's Lilla?'
'My sister. She's 8 and obsessed with Disney.'
'Fair enough.' -
"She has good taste." Layla chuckled. "And Inside Out sounds good to me."
Theo turned Inside Out on. -
Hazel subconsciously leaned against Max's arm, due to her intense jetlag and tiredness.
-
Max grinned, looking at Theo with a "oh my god she might like me back!" type looked. Theo forced a smile before turning back to the movie, nails digging into his palm.
-
Hazel rubbed her eyes, trying to stay fully awake. She leaned against Max and the couch more without realising. 'I'm never going on a plane again.'
-
Max, of course, did realize, and grinned.
"Guess you'll have to stay here forever." Theo laughed. -
'I'd be fine with that. The bread here is better anyway,' Hazel mumbled.
-
"And you'll be with your best friend again." Theo said, grinning.
-
Best friend. That was the biggest friendzone Hazel had ever achieved. 'Yayyyy.'
