Hazel may not have noticed herself squeezing the roll so it went flat, but Theo did. Thankfully, it didn't seem like Layla did. "Nice to meet you too! Theo's said a lot about you."
-
Hazel raised an eyebrow, smirking at Theo. 'Has he? Good things, I hope.'
-
Theo rolled his eyes, not realizing he was blushing slightly. "All good things, I promise." He chuckled.
-
Hazel noticed him blushing and chuckled. 'Thank god.' There was another ring of the doorbell. 'Who could that be now?'
-
"Absolutely no clue." Theo chuckled. "I promise, I didn't rope you into a whole 'meet the friend group' thing on purpose." He opened the door.
-
'Thank god for than. I didn't want some French people going 'awh haw haw' at me this whole day,' Hazel teased, leaning against the wall.
-
Theo rolled his eyes, chuckling. "Relax." He looked at the person standing at the door mwahaha now you write because I'm brain dead.
-
*"Relax, I wouldn't do that to you."
-
Goddamn it Lucas. It was Theo’s friend, the one who we decided is gonna flirt with Hazel. The guy, Max, grinned. ‘Hey, Theo. What’s up?’
-
You're welcome. "Hey, Max!" Theo smiled. "Not much." He looked at Hazel. "Change of plans, this one is DEFINITELY going to annoy you with his Frenchness." He teased.
-
Hazel rolled his eyes. ‘Oui oui, awh haw haw. Guess I’ll just have to annoy all of you with my Australianness.’
Max chuckled, then turned back to Theo, and said in French, ‘Who’s she?’ -
Theo rolled his eyes back before turning back to Max. "Hazel. Her family hosted me for the foreign exchange stuff." He answered in French.
-
‘She’s cute. Mind if I hang out with you all?’ Max asked.
Hazel nibbled on her roll. -
Theo felt a sharp shoot of irritation for a moment before brushing it off. Max wasn't exactly wrong. "Good luck with that, and go ahead."
-
Max grinned and stepped inside. ‘Hey, Layla,’ he said in French, before switching to English as he looked at Hazel. ‘So you’re from Australia?’
‘Yup. Are all of you French bilingual? Should I regret the fact I’ve never paid attention in French class?’ Hazel asked, mainly joking.
