Karl looked up to see Elodie walk in, smiling at her. "Hey!" He said with a smile, waving at the girl. "Look, Nick brought Bee!" "Aww, look at the cutie~" She cooed, walking over to the counter. She reached over to rub the rabbit's ears, giggling. "Where is Nick?" Elodie asked, walking around the counter and setting down her bag. "Letting the pups out." -
(why? you okay?)
Nick was indeed letting the dogs out, struggling to hold his ground as he played with them all. -
(just was a bit freaked out abt smth at church.

"Maybe I should check on him, handling all the pups at once can be a struggle," Elodie suggested, chuckling. Karl nodded in agreement, giggling. "Yeah, maybe." -

It was a struggle. Nick managed to keep everything controlled, playfully fighting off a puppy or two. -

Elodie walked through the room and out to the yard area, opening the door to see Nick playing with the pups. She laughed, smirking at the raven haired boy. "Need some help, Nick?" -

Nick jumped a bit when he heard Elodie, willing around to face her. “Uh, I guess so. When did you get here?” -
(yeah, i'm a bit better now :))
"Just a few minutes ago," Elodie replied with a chuckle, walking over as a few pups ran over to her. She giggled as she crouched, petting the pups. -
(i have time now, if you want :))
“Ohh, gotcha,” Nick said with a chuckle, fighting off the dogs as he also crouched down to bet some. -

but i do wanna talk abt the bluey season finale- bc OMG IT WAS AMAZING >:DDD)
"Yeah, I had to finish up my classes before I could come by," she replied, nodding. "I don't normally work today, since I'm usually pretty busy, but I had some free time today, so I figure why not?" -

Nick nodded, sitting down on the ground before responding. “That makes sense.” -
(it's so good, it's like the end of the season and the main like, theme of the story is abt change and that it can be good and- i literally almost c r i e d :'DD)
"So, you been havin' fun with the pups?" Elodie asked, sitting down on the ground near Nick. One pup crawled into her lap, making her chuckle. -

“Yeah, Nick said with a nod, holding his hand out for Penny to come closer. -

Penny yipped and bounded over to to Nick, playing with him. Elodie smiled, crossing her arms over her chest. "The animals seem to like you a lot, you've grown on them." -

Nick chuckled, gently playing with Penny. “Yeah, I’m really glad.” -
(it is! it's my comfort show lol)
"You also seem to be getting along with Karl," Elodie said, smirking as she reached over to pet Penny.
