Karl pulled out his phone and read the message, giggling as he replied to Nick.

He sighed, staring at the phone for a moment before pulling up the address for Elodie's dorm. "Oh my God, you've really got it bad," she said, exhaling and shaking her head with a smile. Karl sighed, starting the car and pulled put of the driveway. "Maybe- Maybe you're right," he said quietly, starting his way to the dorms to drop off his friend. "But I can't just tell him I love him, we just met! That'd be so weird," he muttered, tapping his hand against the steering wheel. "I- Let's just, not talk about it..."

Nick pulled into the shelter, parking and heading inside. “Hello hello!” He had brought Bee back in with him to bring her for a checkup and a medication refill. -

"Morning~" Karl said with a smile, waving at Nick. "And good morning to you, Bee! You ready for your check up?" He spoke to the rabbit, peering inside her crate she sat in. -

“Oh, she sure is,” Nick said with a chuckle, setting her crate up on the counter. “Should I go bring her in there, or?” -

also my mom's on my ass abt my grades, pissing me off :') may not reply too much longer as now i have to work on my school stuff-)
"She's working with another patient at the moment, but she should be done in a few," Karl said, glancing down at his laptop. -

“Alright,” Nick said with a nod. “Is there anything I need to get done beforehand?” -

"Just fill out this paper for me, and you're all set," Karl said with a smile, grabbing a piece of paper and handing it to Nick. -

Karl hummed as he waited for Nick to finished, peering into Bee's crate and smiling at her. "How's she been handling Eli and Lucy?" -
(no literally it’s awful 😭)
“Um, they’re all in seperate rooms, and I don’t let Eli into her room and Lucy just either hangs around with me or in her terrarium,” Nick said with a shrug. “She’s taking it well, but she doesn’t see them that much.” -

"Well, that's a start," Karl replied with a nod. "I certainly would take it slow, introducing them to each other. Makes things less stressful for them 'n stuff."
