"Out- for lunch??" Karl asked, blushing red. "I- Yeah, I'd- I'd love to," he added with a shy smile, petting Bee again, who nuzzled into Karl's palm.

Nick smiled awkwardly, giving Karl a thumbs up. “Awesome. Is ChickPea okay?” (idk random restaurant name lmao)

"Yeah, sounds great~" Karl replied, giggling. Elodie smiled, watching them for a moment before going back to the filing cabinet.

Nick walked over to the restaurant after parking the car his hands sweating nervously. -
Karl pulled into the parking lot and parked his car, unbuckling and getting out. He looked around for a moment before spotting Nick, locking his car. He crept his way over to the ravenette who has his back to him, walking up behind him and bringing his hands to Nick's face. Karl giggled, covering his eyes. "Guess who?~"

“Ewww, Karl, that’s so weird,” Nick said with a chuckle, turning around after his eyesight was returned.

"What? I thought I was being cute~" Karl teased, trying to not seem embarrassed. Even though the bright blush on his face said other wise. He exhaled softly, his arms ow resting at his side.

“It’s kind of giving super senior,” Nick said with a chuckle. “But it’s okay, it was kinda cute-“ He’s quickly realized what he said, clearing his throat and looking at the restaurant. “Alright, should we go inside?”

"Shut up, doofus," Karl said with a giggle, nudging his side. "And yeah, let's head inside~" He glanced over at Nick, his gaze moving down to his hand. He inched his hand closer, brushing his hand against Nick's in an attempt to get him to grab his own hand. God, I hope I'm not being too forward, or overstepping-

“No, you shut up,” Nick said, blushing lightly. He noticed Karl’s hand against his, glancing over to the brunette then down at their hands. He quickly grabbed the males hand before he could overthink it, walking towards the door.

Karl flushed red as he twined his fingers with Nick's, giggling softly. He followed him inside, tracing his thumb against the back of Nick's hand with a small smile on his face.

Nick chuckled a little, opening the door for Karl and walking inside with him to the hostess stand. A short girl greeted them. “Hi y’all! Table for two?”

Karl nodded, gently squeezing Nick's hand. "Yep~" He spoke with a grin, glancing over at Nick.

“Awesome, you two can follow me,” She said as she grabbed two menus and untensil rolls, walking back to a small booth towards the back. Nick smiled and nodded at her, following and gently bringing Karl along.

Karl smiled and followed Nick, keeping a firm, yet gentle grip on his hand, almost as if he were scared Nick would disappear. He then slid into one of the seats, sitting down.
