'Oh, alright,' Mildred said continuing to eat.

Jack ate the mushrooms before finishing a second crayfish.

Mildred tapped the heel of her foot against the leg of the chair absentmindedly, humming to herself.

Jack ate all five of the crayfish before going back. He loved crayfish. They were easily caught by the panning grate as many fish were but they were the only ones that weren't mainly released. Most vampires hated the taste of river fish

Mildred continued eating, before sitting back in her chair and tapping her knees.

Jack was starting to look like the beggar as his hands and face were covered in sauce

Mildred looked up at him and giggled. 'You've, er, got a bit of sauce on your face.'

"hmm, oh, it seems so." Jack said before reaching for his napkin. He then realized his hands were also covered in sauce. He had a look of embarrassment plastered on his face after realizing he was covered in sauce.

Mildred chuckled. 'Need some help?' she asked, sliding her own napkin, which she hadn't used, towards him.

"um, yeah thanks." Jack said, ashamed of his own messiness. He took his own napkin to wipe off his hands before using Mildred's napkin to wipe his face

Mildred chuckled. 'How'd you get sauce on your nose?' she asked.

"I was just eating these fish, I... Guess I must've gotten distracted. Forgive me for my temporary lapse in manners." Jack said

Mildred chuckled. 'It's okay.'

Jack ate 10 crayfish before stopping. "Mildred, would you like any more before I ring the bell?" Jack asked
