The school bell rang, and Nikolai looked at Nat and the bully, conflicted. On one hand, he would be super late to class if he didn’t hurry, but on the other hand, he couldn’t just leave her with the creep.

Natsuki grabbed her stuff from her locker and glanced back to Nik, knowing they had different classes.

Nik looked at the bully. “If you even touch her-“
The bully just rolled his eyes. “Yeah yeah, you’ll beat me up or whatever, how about you get to class.”
Nik looked at Natsuki again. “Tell me if he does anything, ok?” -
Natsuki nodded, looking to the bully, who just smirked, leaning against a locker.

Nikolai glared at the bully again before walking off to his class.

Natsuki walked towards her class, closely followed by the bully.
'So,' he said, smiling. -
Nikolai sat down in his chair right when the bell for class to start rang, and he couldn’t stop worrying about Nat, and what the bully could be doing.

'Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Chase Willow,' he said. 'What's your name, beautiful?'
Natsuki didn't respond, letting out a small sigh.
'Hm. Well, this is our class,' Chase opened the door for her. 'After you.'

Nikolai tried to focus as he had to endure a lecture from his teacher about the importance of the new lesson, but his mind couldn’t help but wander.

Nat sat at her next at the back of the class. Luckily, there wasn't a spare seat next to her so Chase couldn't sit next to her.
(Timeskip to next day?) -
(Never mind, I can stay for a bit longer…. I was thinking time skip to lunch or something.”
After seemingly forever the bell finally rang, and Nikolai bolted to his locker. -
