After a moment of thought, Natsuki wrote, 'Follow me' and set it on the table so Nik could see. She moved her hands slowly in the appropriate way.

(Holy crap, 50 pages?!)
Nik copied Nats hand motions, beaming when he got it right, and making sure he made a mental not remembering what the sign was. -
(cheese and rice!)
Natsuki grinned and tried to think of the next one. 'Any ideas?' she wrote, showing it to Nik. She wasn't going to show him the sign, she was genuinely asking -
“Maybe we could do ‘good’ and ‘bad’ and stuff like that.” Nik suggested the second he realized that Natsuki was actually asking him a question.

Natsuki nodded and write "good" and showed him the sign.

Nik grinned as he mimicked the sign.

Nat nodded when he got it right, grinning.

Nikolai smiled. “Any more you wanna show me today?” He asked, knowing the bell was going to ring in about 10 minutes.

Nat wrote "bad" and then set it on the table, remembering Nik wanted her to teach him. She moved her hands in the appropriate sign.

Nikolai copied the hand motions, grinning when he got it right, and then shoved all his stuff into his backpack before the bell rang.

Natsuki grabbed her tray and put her rubbish in the bin, setting the tray on a stack outside the cafeteria.

Nik slung the backpack over his shoulder, and followed Natsuki.
“What’s your next class?” He asked. “I have Health class.” -
Natsuki reached into her locker when they got inside and showed him her timetable. She also had Health.

Nikolai smiled. “Cool!” He said excitedly.

Natsuki smiled and returned her timetable to her locker, slinging her backpack over her shoulder.
