C1 is mute. They live with their 19-year-old brother and 3-year-old sister, trying to avoid foster care. C2 is a talkative stable hand, who has known nothing more than poverty. They live in a small country town, and meet by accident, and begin to fall in love. But when foster agents come, looking for C1, their relationship is tested. How will it end?

Any character, just not each other's. Say if I introduce C1's big brother, you can control him if you like.

A few question: Does Nat know ASL, and how old are they?

I was thinking that, because Natsuki would be selectively mute, she wouldn't know much sign language, but would be able to communicate using it. I was thinking around 14 or 15, depending on how old Nikolai would be.

Hmm. Probably around present day, just because of the storyline. Is that OK with you?
