Alrighty!
Nikolai hated school. It was horrible.
At least it WAS. But that was before he ran into Nat

Natsuki was running to her next class. It was a small country school with not a lot of students, but for some reason the council wanted to make it so big the classrooms seemed a million miles apart. She practically ran into a boy, just a bit taller than her. -
They both crashed into each other, Nikolai’s books flying everywhere.
“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry about that!” He said, picking up his scattered books and worksheets. Just then the late bell rang. -
Natsuki bent down and helped him pick up his books, stacking them into a pile then handing it to him. She winced at the shrill sound of the bell then stood up.

Nikolai saw her wince. “You ok?” He asked nervously, not really expecting an answer. He grabbed the books she stacked into a pile and stood up.

Natsuki nodded slowly, relaxing a little when the bell stopped. She pulled her coat tighter around her and gave a small smile.

Nikolai smiled back, and they both went to their classes, Nikolai panicked at how his teacher would react, seeing as this was his 3rd tardy in a row for that class.

Nat went to her maths lesson, which was boring as always. Today, her translator was off sick, so it was difficult to communicate with her teacher.

Nikolai went to his science class where he got chewed out by Mrs Young for being late again, and for damage to his textbook, and he couldn’t argue that it wasn’t fair since he had to run from across the school just to get from class to class.

Nat practically slept through the whole class, and when the bell rang she jolted awake. 'Dismissed,' the teacher said, and everyone ran to lunch.

Nikolai went to lunch, and tried to find an empty table to sit in when he saw her, the same girl He crashed into trying to get to math class. It was the only table nobody was crowding, so he figured to go sit there, next to her.

Nat looked up when she noticed motion close to her, the same boy she'd seen before. She raised a hand in a way of saying hello. -

Nikolai sat down by her, and saw her waving. He waved back, and grabbed his lunchbox, opening it and eating his apple.
“Hope you don’t mind I’m sitting by you,” he started. “I just needed a place to sit. You can tell me though, if you want me to move.” -
Nat shook her head with a small smile and took a bite of her sandwich.
