Nikolai walked to the Health class with Narsuki, making sure they got there before the bell rang.

Luckily, they got to class just before the bell rang and Natsuki found two spare seats at towards the back. She sat down at the closest one to her and set the textbook and notepad she needed on her desk.

Nick quickly grabbed his notebook and pencil as soon as he sat down in the seat next to Natsuki.

The bell for class then rang and the teacher entered, then began to teach in a droning voice that showed he was either tired or hated his job.

Nik tried not to zone out from the boring lecture, but couldn’t help but doodle in the margins of his notebook.

Natsuki leaned her chin on her hands and her elbows on her desk, trying to pretend she was listening. She wasn't, and was instead staring out the window, daydreaming.

At one point the teacher realized that nobody was paying attention to his boring lecture, and started asking random kids to explain what his whole lesson was about, which only made him even more mad when he realized nobody was paying attention.

'Chong,' the teacher said, snapping Nat out of her daydream. He then asked a question in a voice so angry and quick she could barely hear him.
Natsuki began randomly signing in hope he didn't know ASL and would think she was paying attention. -
The teacher narrowed his eyes, clearly not knowing ASL, but still not convinced that Nat payed attention.
“You.” The teacher said, pointing at Nikolai. “Do you know what she said?”
Nik shook his head quickly. -
'Hmph,' the teacher grumbled something under his breath before asking another few kids questions. Natsuki sighed in relief that the teacher didn't know what she'd signed, as it had nothing to do with health whatsoever.

Nik smiled as the teacher yelled at a bunch of other kids, relieved that he had no clue what Natsuki was signing.

When class was finally over, Nat gathered her stuff into her bag and slung it over her shoulder, waiting for Nik to do the same.

Nikolai threw the backpack strap over his shoulder after shoving his stuff in it.

Nat signed "follow me", figuring he wouldn't know "let's go" and headed to the door.
