“Do you want me to get you breakfast?” Nik asked softly, standing up.

Natsuki nodded again, sitting up. She smiled gratefully at Nik and used the comb he'd given her the day before to brush her hair.

Nikolai walked out of his room, grabbing an apple and a muffin before going back into his room, offering them to Nat.

Nat smiled and took the apple, setting down the comb.

Nikolai set the muffin down, making sure he has everything he needed for class in his backpack. “You ready to walk to the bus in a couple minutes?” He asked.

Natsuki nodded, taking a bite from her apple. Once she was finished she chucked the core in a conveniently placed trash bin and grabbed her wallet, tucking it into her jacket pocket. She also put the necklaces in her pocket - she couldn't leave them unguarded.

Nikolai opened the door, and they both went outside to the bus stop.

Natsuki sat down on the bench, fiddling with her uniform tie. She probably should've grabbed some spare clothes at her house the previous night - she'd been wearing this one for three days straight!
The bus parked in front of them, and Nat slipped her hand into Nik's as they climbed on it. -
“So it’s almost the weekend.” Nikolai said, feeling slightly uncomfortable in the silence. “What are we going to do during the weekend?” He knew it wouldn’t be great to stay in his house much in case his mom noticed.

Natsuki shrugged, finding two empty seats and sitting down.

Nikolai watched the road through the window, not knowing what to do to pass the time.

Natsuki glanced at him then back down at her hands, not knowing what to do to avoid the awkward silence.

“So um… what do you wanna talk about?” Nikolai asked quietly, fidgeting with his hands.

Natsuki shrugged again, glancing around the bus. She pursed her lips when she noticed a familiar boy approaching them, then taking the seat behind them.
(The roleplay needed to get dramatic somehow 🤣) -

Nikolai noticed the man sitting down, and it was the same guy that bullied her the day before.
“What do you want?” Nikolai asked, glaring at him.
