Anne gave a small smile. 'Good,' she replied, glancing at Lily.

Lily glanced back at the latter. "What do you want to do?"

'I don't mind,' she said with a shrug.

(I honestly don't know what to put)
"Donkey ride, perhaps?" Lily suggested, her hand gesturing to the left of the pair. -
'If you want to,' Anne said, wrinkling her nose at how many little kids the donkeys attracted.

Lily glanced over, after seeing Anne's displeased expression. She saw little kids with grubby hands climbing onto the backs of donkeys. "Maybe we'll pass for now then" she muttered.

'Sorry, I'm a germaphobe,' Anne said with a forced smile. 'You can go of you want to.'

Lily shook her head. "No it's fine, it doesn't look as fun as it used to anyway. I don't fancy it any more, and obviously you don't" she denied though this time she generally meant it.

'If you're sure,' Anne said. They continued walking on the sand, Anne making squeaking sounds with her feet in the sand with a chuckle.

Lily chuckled softly, staring out at the horizon. She fiddled with a loose lock of hair.
(When are we gonna do the romance between them?) -
(maybe we can start the crush bit when they have the cliché fall)
Anne laughed and walked regularly again, then started wringing out her wet hair. -
(Sounds like a plan- wanna do that soon?)
"Wanna have a race?" Lily suggested. "Start here and finish at that group of dandelions" she stated pointing at the flowers. -
(sure!)
'Alright!' Anne said, standing next to Lily. 'Do you want to count down?' -
"Sure, 3, 2," she paused and thought for a moment. "One, GO!" the pair set off sprinting across the warm, damp sand.
