Lily smiled softly, then cocked her head. "Do you wanna go back in the water?" She suggested. -
'I do. Do you want you?' Anne asked.

"Don't mind" Lily stated with a childish grin on her face. She took Anne's hand and started jogging in the direction of the sea.

Anne laughed at Lily's expression as they ran to the water and waded ankle-deep. 'It's cold!' Anne squealed, jumping a little.

However, Lily loved the feeling of the waves hitting her skin, once she had got used to it. She flicked a lock of hair behind her ear, laughing. "Should we jump over the waves?" She suggested.

Anne chuckled. It was good to feel like a little kid again, even if they would be considered grown up in just a few years. 'Sure.'

The pair jumped over the waves squealing as the cold water hit their ankles and shins. Lily threw back her head and laughed remebering how her older sister-Mary- had told her about the beach when she was younger. She had to fight back tears thinking about her relative but kept on smiling even so.

After a bit more laughing and jumping and squealing, Anne grew tired and had to take a few steps backward, back onto the sand.
'That was fun,' she laughed. -
Lily nodded following Anne back onto the less wet part of the beach. "This is the best day ever" she claimed and she meant it. She quickly wiped away a tear that had escaped hoping that Anne hadn't seen.

Anne grinned. 'It has been nice,' she agreed with a small chuckle. She looked back to the ocean, a small smile plastered on her face.
