I thought for a moment, then decided. "I'm still not known about and you and your friend are the only ones who know of my.. existence. Whilst I would like to join, I fear I may be as out of shape when I first helped you.", I said, gesturing to my makeshift cast, chuckling as I looked into their eyes. Right then and there, I knew what they were talking about. They knew who would be their lifetime partner. I felt rather honoured they chose me of all of their candidate on this planet. Chuckling quietly, I had an idea. Carefully putting a bit of weight on my leg, I lifted them up bridal style as we continued to walk to wherever the exit was.

Golden eyes gleaming in amazement, Zacharius wraps their arms around Revelation's neck and kisses him. "S-so then, you... I mean, will you... Revelation, would you..." Zacharius stumbles over their words, feeling their face grow hot as they stare into Revelation's eyes.

Glancing down into their golden eyes, I smirked in triumph as I nodded once in amazement. "I do. As long as I live, my answer remains a 'yes!'", I answered as I laughed happily, spying an opening in the clearing. "Ah. Our way out, hon.", I said as I carried us through the clearing, out into the open.

No sooner than the two made it into the clearing, Captain Kholer approaches the two on his horse.
"Lieutenant Ulbritch," he calls, then noticing Aries in Revelation's arms. Flustered, he glances away. "Oh, I, um... Have I interrupted something."
"No, sir," Aries replies, slowly sliding out of Revelation's arms and landing gently on their feet. "How did you get down here, though, and where are we?"
"You two fell down a regional portal. There was an incline not too far from the cliff, so I came down to investigate."
"Ah, so that explains the 'underground world'," Aries states.
"Do either of you need a ride? I can only seat one," the captain offers.
Before Revelation can speak, Zacharius speaks up. "Please let Revelation ride with you. He can hardly walk."
"Very well, then." Kholer helps Revelation onto the back of his horse, and from there, the three make their way back up the incline, with Zacharius walking beside Kholer's horse. -
Part of me wanted to say something, but I still felt nervous about being in the company of those I haven't truly met, but here I sat on the back of their horse, eying my surroundings. I couldn't help but keep an eye on Aries, for I was worried their broken wing and I genuinely missed them. I smiled slightly as I looked to see a bunch of children at play in a field, unaware of the dangers that had occurred this day. "They're lucky. They've no idea what has happened the last few hours.", I said with a slight smile, glancing at Aries.

"Our children grow up strong, knowing that they will one day be safe. To fear our future is simply not in our nature," Zacharius replies, mirroring a warm smile. "Perhaps, one day, you will be able to see for yourself," they then slip out, catching themself after the fact.
Kholer stops his horse in the middle of town. "Here we are. I think it's safe to say you both need a room in the hospital. Luckily, there's one right here."
"I appreciate you bringing us here, sir," Zacharius says, bowing their head respectively.
"It's no problem at all. I'd do anything to see you have a life outside of war." Zacharius gasps and their eyes widens before Khiler goes on with a wink. "He seems to be a real keeper."
"Uhhn," Zacharius sort of groans, slightly embarrassed. Taking Revelation of Kholer's horse, they lean him up against their body and help him into the hospital. -
I could only chuckle in response, hobbling myself with their motions as we made our way inside. I felt like I was going to go into shock soon, as I could feel my body begin to shut down. "Hey, Aries. I can't thank you enough. For making my life feel like there's purpose instead of being alone." I tried to open my mouth again, but I felt weak. "He-help-" The last thing I could see was the ground before I collapsed from heavy shock.

As Revelation closes his eyes, Zacharius reaches their hand out to him...
Something falls softly on Revelation's face, and as he opens his eyes again, he finds himself in the middle of a familiar clearing where cherry blossoms spiral down around him.
Zacharius sits over Revelation, brushing the cherry blossom off his face, smiling warmly as his head rests in their lap. "Hello. It's a wonderful day, is it not?" -
I glanced around at my surroundings in confusion, but felt much better knowing I could sense no danger. "It truly is. I have a question, though. Did I die? Is this paradise?", I asked nervously and fearing the worst. I remembered that the demon we fought was no longer in this realm, and I took solace knowing this fact. Still, I felt so at ease, but yet unsure as to how I could feel.

Zacharius chuckles, smiling warmly at Revelation. " Did you die? No. Are you in paradise? Well, that's up to your speculation, but I would hope so. You are in a healing sleep, and I have joined your essence to help you heal faster, just as you helped me. Are you ready to wake up and join the world again, my love? Just say the word and I can wake you up."

I slowly nodded in understanding, sighing quietly as I fully took in my surroundings, noting the serenity and stillness. "I would rather wait here than know what's going on for now.", I sighed, laying beside them and closing my eyes. "Hey. Can I ask you something rather personal?" I glanced up at them, feeling rather content and in thought.

Zacharius strokes Revelation's hair, smiling more. "Very well, then. We can stay here, for now. As for your question, ask away, my dear."

I closed my eyes rather sleepily as I felt like I was being comforted by the very world. And in a way, I was. "How long have you had those powers, and how had you attained them?", I asked, half asleep and not wanting to move from this spot.

"I was born with these powers," Zacharius explains. "Possession is of the dark arts. It is, in most places, banned, if you will... My possession can go further than simply being in your conscience. I can use you as a vessel and manipulate your very mind. I can flip through the pages of your memory and read them as I'd they were written down on a book. However, I do not use this magic unless an emergency calls for such a thing..."

I nodded in understanding. "And the demon powers?" Personally I was curious about those more than anything else. But overall, I didn't wish to offend them in any way.
