Oopa))
"I am offended that you think I'd have that much trouble. I could breeze through that interview, easy," Ander responded. Robo's eyes rolled, trotting ahead of the two. -
"Yes, and awe the judges with your amazing posing skills," Kenna replied sarcastically with a smile on her face.
-
"Never take the power of good posing skills too lightly. Go on then," Ander challenged. "What would you do?"
-
"Poses are rather limited for me," Kenna said. "Probably something sophisticated rather than strong and powerful."
-
"You could bring Robo and have him do a jig," Ander offered. "Although that would more likely get you the role of an entertainer rather than a heroine."
-
"My superpower would be whacking unsuspecting villains upside the head," Kenna said. "They'd never see it coming."
-
haha foreshadowing))
"An excellent superpower. I think mine would be common sense." The rushing sound of the river filled their ears, Robo bounding ahead of them to cool himself off in the water. Ander dropped the nets, shielding his eyes from the sun. "I'll show you how it's done. Unfortunately, we don't have a boat. I'll have to wade out myself." -
"Okay," Kenna said. She sat down by the edge and began taking off her shoes and socks. There was no way she wasn't going to at least let her feet take advantage of the water.
"Actually, water is buoyant," Kenna said. "It could probably hold me up in deeper water, I might be able to help." -
"Assuming it doesn't carry you away, since this is a river. Slow-moving around here, but still a river." He began unbuttoning his collared shirt, making his admin want to cry because she feels weird about writing this for some reason. The Linnus tattoo on his neck was exposed and Ander felt self-conscious without the upturned collar to cover it. Still, he wasn't about to drench his clothes for no good reason.
-
"Fair point," Kenna said. One functional leg was not enough for that. She brought her eyes down to look at her feet through the water, anywhere besides Ander when he suddenly started taking off his shirt. Her eyes caught a brightly colored stone. She picked it up, admiring how it glistened in the light.
-
AHAHA Kenna is literally the "I do not see" meme))
"Maybe not fishing, but swimming might work for you. I'd hold you and make sure you don't drift away. You'd just sort of...float. It's quite relaxing." Ander hung his shirt on a nearby tree branch, amused by her sudden fascination with a rock. "Must be a really good stone." -
"It's pretty," Kenna said. She held it up so it hit the sunlight. "See? It sparkles. Plus it's colorful."
She set it down next to her. "It could probably work. After you're done fishing, of course." -
Ander crouched down beside her, examining the colourful rock. "It is quite nice. You should keep it." He straighten back up, offering his hand to her. "I could fish later. We wouldn't want you getting bored, now would we?"
-
Kenna chuckled. "Well, I could either get bored now or I could get bored later," she said. "Although I don't know if it's the best to keep the fish on the shore while we have fun right? So I guess we can do it now."
-
Ander took her hand, politely helping her up. "Do you mind if I carry you in? It makes it easier to hang on to you so the river doesn't send one of us bobbing away," he said with an amused tone, visualizing the last sentence.
