"That’s good! On my second day, I barely hit the target at all." Lares raised his hand for a high five.

"I don't know how I'm doing so well with this," Erina said truthfully as she slapped his hand.

"That’s what they all say," Lares teased lightly.

"I'm serious, I've never boon good at anything, especially anything athletic," she said.

"Sometimes, you don’t have to be good at something for it to work." Lares set his hand on the bench, and his eyes sparkled. "Sometimes you just need a little luck, and then later on, maybe a little talent."

"I feel like I'm all talent and no work," she said. "I don't like not having to work hard at something."

Lares considered this, and when he finally spoke, his voice was barely louder than a whisper. "Everyone works at one point in their life or another, even the worst thugs."

"What have you had to work for," Erina said. "You have everything at your feet, you want for nothing."

Lares chuckled bittersweetly. "You have no idea. Sometimes I wish I was a normal boy."

"Spend a day as a normal person," Erina said. -
(Maybe he invites her to dinner at the royal palace/castle sometime?)
"Yeah. I’d like that." Lares sighed, sitting down, watching her. He offered some water. -
(Wow that would be a shocker for her)
Erina gratefully took the water and sat down on the bench. "You'd have to wear commoners clothes. And bite your tongue." -
"I've tried to bite my tongue, but princes have to speak publicly. They can’t screw stuff up." Lares continued, "I’d like t-to be silent for once."

"I meant with your attitude when you talk to people," she said.

"Huh." Lares stared off into space absently.
