Lares's shoulders relaxed. "Phew. That’s a relief, because I don’t run marathons in my spare time."

"But we'll have to go into the forest and maybe some fields to get them," Erina said.

"That’s fine by me," Lares told Erina. "Shall we get going?"

Erina nodded. She led Lares through the winding streets until the buildings started thinning. She walked up to one of them and knocked on the door.

Lares shuddered, thinking perhaps this was the wrong house when the door swung open and a blast of wind carried him inside.

"Hello, Lillia," Erin said upon entering.
"Hello dear," Lillia said. "Who's this young man?" -
Lares coughed. He wasn't sure whether or not to use his real name with Lillia, so he hung his head and decided to let Erina handle it.

"Oh he's a friend," Erina said. "He's going to help with the herbs."
"Ah," Lillia said. She handed them a piece of paper. "Here is the list of plants you are to acquire." -
Lares peeked at the list and gaped. There were more plants on that list than he could gather in a week. Warily, he whispered to Erina, "Are you sure we can get all those for her by… um, what time do we have to return?"

"Sometime today," Erina shrugged nonchalantly.
