"I can tell," Adrian said. "You can let it out. I'll be here."

That was all Jewel needed to give her a mental breakdown. She burst out into tears, it was almost like she was screaming.

Adrian wrapped his arms around her tightly, holding her.

Jewel buried her face in his chest and cried her eyes out.

Adrian wasn't sure what to say, so he just held her close to him, rubbing his hand up and down her back. "We'll stay as long as you need," he whispered softly to her.

"Should we bury them?" Jewel asked, raising her head to look at Adrian.

He nodded, "Yes." He then stood up, Jewel still wrapped in his arms.

"By the way, can I have Max? Like his head or something?" Jewel asked seriously.

Adrian looked down at Jewel. "Isn't that a little morbid?"

Jewel's face flushed in embarrassment. "Sorry about that, I'm not myself when I lose people close to me." she said with a small laugh.

"I'll get the shovel," Adrian said, letting go of Jewel.

Jewel nodded her head. She decided to look around and see what on earth had happened. Something had obviously killed them, but the question was what. Although she knew deep down what had happened.

"Demons," Adrian said right before he walked out the door to go to the shed.
