Jewel had arrived at the house. She knocked on the door and frowned upon not hearing an answer. She remembered that there was a key in a flowerpot. She took the key and unlocked the door and was horrified to see what she found inside.

Adrian got dressed as quickly as possible and rushed out of the hotel as he put on his black leather jacket

She had found the corpse's of her mother and little brother. They had been brutally murdered, it seemed like something tore them apart.
Jewel sank to the ground and started shaking, tears were streaming out of her eyes. -
Adrian ran down the city streets. It was unusually busy and he didn't want people to see him take flight. But he still was an extremely fast runner.

Jewel had her brothers head in her lap, which only made her panic even more. She couldn't do anything. Jewel felt like she couldn't breathe. -
Once Adrian was alone he shot up to the sky, his raven black wings spreading across the sky

Jewel laid down next to her torn apart brother. She knew that it must have been scary for him and she felt as if all of this were her fault.

Adrian flew across the sky and in a few minutes was outside Jewel's house. He ran to the front door and quickly opened it. "Jewel," he said, leaning on the doorframe and gasping for breath.

Jewel got up, her face dark and angsty. "You said they wouldn't die." she said quietly.

Adrian shook his head and said softly, "I said there'd be less of a chance that they would." He knelt down next to Jewel and looked at her. "I'm sorry."

Jewel said nothing but only stared at him blankly. "I should've stayed here, I could have done something to help them." she whispered.

Adrian shook his head. "I don't think it would have worked out."

"I guess you're right." She said, putting a brave smile on. Usually when she was sad, she would pretend as if everything were okay.

"Jewel," Adrian said wrapping his arms around her, "I wish I could've done something."

"Oh no, it wasn't your fault." she said.
