"I figured." she said, a little upset by the fact. She walked down the hall to her room to look at pictures.
(So should she accidently fall asleep and Lucifer comes?) -

Adrian found the shovel and started digging into the earth. -
(How about we do it when they get back to the hotel?)
(Also I love how they're just burying bodies and none of the neighbors question it. XD)
Jewel brought out a picture gallery and looked at a few pictures. Her heart stopped when she realized something. She was now technically an orphan. -
(Sure)
(They live in the woods, remember?)
(Whoa I just realized that too)
Adrian dug two six-foot deep graves. He went back into the house to get the bodies.
(Have you noticed that the depth you're supposed to dig a grave is the depth you're supposed to social distance?) -
(O- I just remembered that. XD)
Jewel flipped page after page, looking at pictures from her childhood. She let a tear escape her eyes and started having another meltdown.
(COVID PLANNED THIS ALL ALONG) -

Adrian placed the corpses in the ground. He went back inside to see Jewel crying. He wrapped his strong arms around her. -
"No, no, no. I'm fine, see?" she said, putting a smile on her face and pointing to it.

Adrian shook his head. "Jewel," he sighed. "You don't have to hide it from me. I know what it feels like to lose the people you love."

Jewel bit her lip. "N-No. I'm fine." she whispered.

"You just lost your mom and your little brother," Adrian said. "You're not fine."

"My mother probably deserved it. My little brother, not at all." she said.

"You're still not fine," Adrian countered.

"I'm fine." she insisted.

"Come on," Adrian said, standing up. "We still have to finish burying them."

Jewel felt sick to her stomach at the thought of doing that. She slowly nodded her head and stood up.
