"Well, you don't have to worry about evil dragons here," Megan said.

"What about slurpents?" Nathan said.

"What now?" Megan asked with a confused look on her face.

"Slurpents," Nathan said. "You know, the long tube like things that suck up stuff."

"No, I don't know," Megan said. "Do you mean a vacuum cleaner?"

"Wussa vacuum cleaner?" Nathan said.

"Um...A slurpent that cleans things," Megan said. "At least based on what you told me." She went into the closet and pulled out the vacuum cleaner.

"That doesn't look like a slurpent," Nathan said. "It doesn't even move."

Megan plugged it in. It started making the whining noise. She put the hose up to her hand, then showed him the red circle that was left behind.

Nathan let out a screech and dove under the cushions. "THAT'S A SLURPENT, GET IT AWAY"

"It's not a slurpent," Megan said. "It's a vacuum cleaner. It helps clean the carpet."

"But it's scary," Nathan said, peeping out from under the pile of cushions.

Megan calmly unplugged the vacuum cleaner and put it away. "There are some things I just don't understand," she said.

"Me too," Nathan said. "Like why you have THAT THING in your home!" -
(I know! I'm having to check the angle of each one so that I know which one's me or not XD)
"It makes life easier," Megan said.
