Nathan sat down on her stomach, tapping her face. "What about now?"

"Stop it, please," Megan said as she flipped over on her side

Nathan wobbled over and lounged on her ribcage. "But it's the morning," he whined. "Morning is time to DO things."

"What do you normally do in the morning?" Megan asked.

"Look for food," Nathan said, thinking. "Sleep some more, try not to die...you get the jest."

"Try not to die?" Megan said. "What would have killed you?"

"Oh, anything alive, really," Nathan said. "It's eat or be eated."

"Eaten," Megan corrected. "So you just go around and ...eat other demons?"

"No," Nathan said. "I eat magma mites. The dragons eat us.'

"So you don't ever eat the dragon?" Megan asked.

"We can't!" Nathan said, stretching his arms wide. "Beeg. Dragons are more mass than us."
