C1 has been given a spiritual guardian, someone to protect them in life. But instead of having a guardian angel, for some reason they got a protective demon, C2, instead.
(eg "Oh, someone threw paper at the back of your head? Let me just shove it up their nose.)
I would really prefer C2, because I have somewhat of a character in mind for them ^^ -

Nathan took a hold of a pole and started swinging around, humming happily. He was getting a human of his own to look after! He could hardly wait. -
Megan finally found her friends Lindsey. "Hey, I lost you, where were you?" she asked.
"I got distracted by the metal sculptures," Lindsey answered. "There was even a large knight there!"
Megan and Lindsey were having fun in the Old Market downtown. There was always something new to look at every time they went -
Nathan spotted Megan nearby. From what he knew, only she would be able to see him. How fun! He hide in a dumpster, poking his head out to watch her.

Megan and Lindsey stopped at an ice cream shop. They got a pint of chocolate ice cream and shared it between the two of them. It was delicious. Megan thought she saw something by the dumpsters...no, she was either imagining it or it was a piece of failed artwork.

Nathan's tail flicked in excitement and he held it to keep it from giving him away. Megan was very pretty to him.

They finished the pint of chocolate and tossed the carton away. "We should probably head back," Lindsey said.
"Yeah," Megan agreed. They got off the bench they were sitting on and started walking back home. They lived in the same neighborhood.
