Chris's face turned a soft shade of pink as their hands made contact. He quickly suppressed the flush before they got downstairs.

She sat down on one of the mattress's, looking through the movies.

Christopher sat on the mattress across from hers. "Which one is to your liking?" he asked, looking over at Jenifer. He considered her his dearest friend, yes, practically a sister, though he loved her even beyond that. His time was running out fast, like sand in an hour glass, slowly fading away.

Jenifer shrugged. "Dunno. Wanna try a random one?" She beamed at her brother-like friend.

"Why not?" he grinned and picked up a random DVD. "Like a present.... You never know what's inside until you open it."

"Mhm." She agreed. "Could be completely awesome or complete crap."

"Either way, it's an excuse to stuff your face with popcorn and M&Ms." He slipped the DVD into the DVD player and clicked play.

"Exactly." She laughed while putting a few pieces of popcorn in her mouth.

Chris took a handful of M&Ms from the bowl, eating them one at a time as the previews played on the screen.

Jenifer leaned back a bit, getting comfortable.

Chris lied down on his stomach; resting his head in his hands. He watched as the opening credits for Jaws came up on the screen. He couldn't help but smirk as he popped two more M&Ms into his mouth.

Jenifer rolled her eyes. "Lovely." She muttered.

"Haha, indeed it is." He laughed softly just as the famous notes started to play.

She smiled a bit.
