"My family? They're uh- they're a lot, let's just say," Ed said, chuckling softly. "I've got a lot of siblings and cousins, so it's definitely a little chaotic sometimes- haven't seen anyone in a while, though. Even before I went to sleep."
-
James nodded, chuckling. ‘Fair enough.’
-
Ed chuckled softly, nodding. "What about you? What's your family like?"
-
‘Erm, I haven’t seen them in years,’ James said, rubbing the back of his neck.
-
"Hm, sounds familiar," Ed spoke softly, nodding a little. "Are they just as crazy as mine, or have you not seen them for other reasons?"
-
James laughed nervously. ‘Er, they were okay- O-Other reasons.’
-
Ed nodded, an understanding smile on his face. "No, that's totally fair."
-
James looked away, rubbing his arm.
-
"You alright?" Ed asked hesitantly, watching James for a moment.
-
‘Yep,’ James said, feigning a smile.
-
Ed watched James for a moment before nodding, looking back at the cans of food. "I suppose I should toss these, now-"
-
James nodded, crossing his legs. ‘Need some help?’
-
Ed looked over at James, smiling a little. "That'd be wonderful, actually, if you could-" He said, nodding a little as he started gathering some of the cans.
-
James stood up and slung his satchel over his shoulder, walking over.
-
Ed hummed softly as he scooted over a little, trying to stack cans in his arms and not let them drop.
