"Wow- well, isn't that somethin'~?" Ed said with a smile, watching James.
-
James smiled. ‘Do you have any records? I did have some, but they’re all broken…’
-
"Hmm, I should have some somewhere, I'll have to check my office," Ed replied, turning and grabbing a few more cans out of the cabinets.
-
‘Okay,’ James said, returning to his beans.
-
Ed hummed softly as he returned to pulling cans out of the cabinets, setting them on the counter.
-
James watched him curiously, eating his beans. ‘So, you’re like, a real-life vampire, huh?’
-
"I suppose so, yes," Ed replied with a chuckle, nodding. "I mean, I don't think I'm any different from like, a normal person- minus looking a little different and drinking blood sometimes."
-
‘And the hundred year naps,’ James chuckled.
-
"I think that's just a me thing," Ed spoke, chuckling awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
-
‘Fair enough,’ James said, crossing his legs. ‘So, how long are you letting me stay, anyway?
-
"As long as you need, I really don't mind how long you stay," Ed replied with a smile, running a hand through his hair.
-
‘Oh, thanks,’ James said, smiling. ‘I can help around the house if you need as repayment.’
-
"That'd be lovely, actually- thank you~" Ed replied with a smile, nodding.
-
James smiled. He finished half his can of beans and covered the top with a cloth and a hair tie
-
Ed hummed as he went back to cleaning out the cabinets, setting the cans on the counter.
