James smiled back. ‘Okay. What are you doing?’
-
"Cleaning out the kitchen, tossing all this spoiled food," Ed replied, moving over to another cabinet.
-
James nodded, watching him to so.
-
"What do you like to eat?" Ed asked, looking over at James.
-
‘Anything, really,’ James said, shrugging with a small smile. He sat down on the counter and crossed his ankles, opening his can of beans.
-
Ed watched James for a moment, nodding. "Well, I was going to go out shopping, so- is there anything specific I should get?"
-
James grabbed a collapsible spoon from his pocket and unfolded it. ‘Nah, get whatever you want.’
-
"You sure? No allergies or anything I should be aware of?" Ed asked, furrowing his brows a little as he watched James.
-
‘Yeah, I’m sure,’ James said with a smile.
-
Ed nodded, feeling himself blush a little. "Well, if- if you have anything you do want to eat, just- just let me know-"
-
‘Okay,’ James said, spooning some beans into his mouth. ‘So, uh, what do vampires do for fun?
-
"Well, I quite like to read and write," Ed replied, running a hand through his hair, "but, I really love music~"
-
James nodded, swallowing some beans before continuing. ‘Hang on, I have a phonograph here somewhere-‘ he reached into his bag, rummaging around.
-
"Really?" Ed asked, a curious look on his face.
-
‘I think so,’ James said. He carefully pulled out a box and set it on the counter. It was pretty bashed up, but fairly light. ‘I don’t know if it still works or not, though.’
