"Honestly, not much-" Ed said once he finally got a good look, holding the cans close. "My, have things changed- a lot."
-
‘Yeah, that tends to happen after 100 years,’ James said.
-
"Right, yes," Ed said, chuckling softly.
-
James chuckled. He walked into an alleyway and put down the cans, opening the dumpster.
-
Ed followed James, walking over and putting the cans into the dumpster.
-
James grabbed the cans and put them in the dumpster.
-
Ed hummed softly as he looked around, taking in the view around him. "This place really has changed a lot over the years, hasn't it-" He said aloud, moving forward a little.
-
‘I guess,’ James said. ‘They had to do a lot of rebuilding after the wars.’
-
"The wars??" Ed repeated, his eyes wide. "s---, I must be one heavy sleeper-"
-
‘Yeah,’ James chuckled. ‘There were two.’
-
"Two?! Holy s----" Ed said, chuckling softly. "That's insane-"
-
James chuckled weakly. ‘Yeah,’ he said, sticking his hands in his pockets.
-
"Were- were you apart of them?" Ed asked quietly, watching James. "I just noticed, your outfit looks rather military-like."
-
‘I fought in the second one. I was born just after the first one.’
-
"Wow, that- that must've been somethin'," Ed spoke softly, nodding. "I've seen wars go down, but never- never up close and in person or anything."
