“What songs are on it?” Evan asked, shifting his feet slightly.

“It’s the Bleed American album: Your House, Hear You Me, The Middle- Ugh, The Middle is such a good song,” Connor said, chuckling softly.

“Never heard it,” Evan said, shrugging a little. “I’d love to hear it sometime, though-“

“You definitely should, they’ve got great music,” Connor replied, smiling. “Maybe I could bring my record player over some day~”

Evan smiled, nodding. “That’d be really cool-“

Connor smiled, humming softly. He started walking again, continuing to look through and occasionally stop to check out some records.

“Are you almost done?” Evan asked, yawning again.

“Yeah, I think I’m good,” Connor said, nodding. “Wait here, I’m gonna go pay real quick,” he added, gently pulling from Evan’s hold as he walked over to the check out area.

Evan nodded, dumbly standing in the same spot and waiting for Connor.

A dark hair girl walked over to Evan, placing a hand on his shoulder. “Come here often~?” She asked with a smirk, moving to his side and her hand sliding down to rest on his arm.

Evan jumped, his head whipping over, but his useless eyes staring off into the distance. “Oh- uh- no-“

The girl furrowed her eyes, scrunching her nose for a second. “You browsing? Maybe I can help you find something~” She said with a smirk, gently squeezing Evan’s arm.

“Uh- no, sorry, I’m just waiting for my friend to check out-“ Evan said nervously.

“Oh, I’m sure your friend won’t mind~” The girl said with a smirk, moving closer to Evan and grabbing his hand.

“Uh- but I’m pretty sure I’d mind-“ Evan said, tugging his hand away.
