“No- you’re good I’m just messing with you,” Evan said with a quiet chuckle, yawning quietly and turning on his side.

Connor chuckled softly, nodding. "Right, sorry," he said, running a hand through his hair.

“Alright- I’m passing out- dunno when I’ll wake up,” Evan muttered, rubbing his face.

"Okay, you get some sleep," Connor said, chuckling softly. He watched Evan for a moment before standing up, moving to sit on the floor beside the bed. He hummed softly, pulling out his phone.

“Are you sitting in the floor again?” Evan muttered, turning over and reaching his hand out. “There’s a chair at my desk-“

"I'm fine on the floor, honestly," Connor said, chuckling softly. If he were being completely honest, he wanted to be closer to Evan. Whether it was in case if he had a nightmare or because he just wanted to be near him, even he couldn't tell.

“If you say so,” Evan said in confusion, bringing his hand under the blanket again.

Connor watched Evan for a moment before looking back at his phone, a small smile on his flustered face.

Evan jolted awake in a cold sweat, sitting up a little as he caught his breath. “f----“ -
Connor looked over, panicking a little. "Are you okay, Evan?" He asked, moving to stand.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m fine,” Evan said, groaning quietly as he sat up. “It wasn’t a bad one.”

"You sure?" Connor asked, standing to his feet. "You uh, you want to talk about it? I understand if not, I mean, we barely know each other, so-"

“It- it was just a small flashback of the crash, but like- dream style, I guess,” Evan muttered, shrugging.

"What-" Connor paused, cutting himself off. "Never mind, I'm sure you don't want to talk about it-"

“About what?” Evan asked, turning his head to face Connor.
