"I was gonna ask like, what do you remember from the crash, but I'm sure you don't want to like, talk about it or anything-"

“Oh, yeah, not really,” Evan said softly, nodding.

"Yeah, I figured- Sorry, I just- tend to say what first pops into my head without thinking first," Connor said, chuckling awkwardly.

“It’s okay,” Evan mumbled quietly, running a hand through his hair. “I might take a shower.”

"Okay," Connor replied, nodding as he leaned against Evan's bed.

“If you hear any crashing, it’s usually the f---ing shampoo bottle,” Evan said, throwing the covers back and moving to stand.

Connor chuckled, nodding. "Got it," he said, running a hand through his hair.

Evan stood, pausing for a minute as dizziness washed over him. “Could- could you grab me a pair of shorts and a new sweatshirt?”

"Yeah, I can," Connor replied with a nod, standing and moving to the dresser. He searched for a moment before pulling out a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt. He brought it over to Evan, gently placing it into his hands.

Evan flinched slightly, shaking his head to try and get rid of the dizzyness. “Okay, thank you-“

"You okay?" Connor asked gently, staying close by Evan.

“Mhm,” Evan forced a small smile, moving past Connor and heading out to the hall.

"You sure?" Connor asked again, following Evan for a moment before stopping himself.

“Mhm-“ Evan shunned, tripping slightly on the rug in the hall, but continuing towards the bathroom afterwards.

"Evan, I think you should sit down for a second," Connor spoke, starting to move again.
