"My sister certainly doesn't think so, though- The girl likes chewy bacon, like, the f---??" Connor said, chuckling softly.
-
“Yikes, that f---in’ sucks,” Evan said, scoffing jokingly. “You have a sister?”
-
"Yeah, she's a few years younger than me," Connor replied, nodding.
-
“Oh, okay,” Evan said softly, nodding.
-
Connor hummed softly, soon finishing making the bacon and putting it on Evan's plate. "Alright, your food's ready," he said with a small smile, taking the plate over to the brunette. "Now, where's the silverware-"
-
“Second drawer to the right of the oven,” Evan said, carefully making his way into the dining room.
-
"Thank you," Connor said with a smile, walking over to the drawer and pulling out a fork. He walked into the dining room, holding the plate. "Do you want something to drink, too?"
-
“Uh, no, I’ll be fine,” Evan said softly, sitting down at the table.
-
Connor nodded and moved over to where Evan sat down, setting the plate down in front of him and handing him the fork.
-
Evan turned his head quickly towards Connor as he took the fork, nodding a little. “Thanks-“
-
"You're welcome," Connor replied with a smile, sitting down beside Evan. "Let me know if you need anything else."
-
Evan nodded, sitting silently as he tried to will himself to eat it. “Do- uh, do you want some?”
-
"No, I'm alright, I ate before I came here," Connor replied, pulling out his phone.
-
“Oh, ‘kay,” Evan said softly, turning back to his plate. The smell wafted to his nostrils, starting to make him nauseous. Just- eat, you dumass, you don’t want Connor on your back about this, too-
-
Connor glanced over at Evan, watching him for a moment. "You okay?" He asked softly.
