Connor chuckled softly, taking a sip of his water. He set his cup back down and continued humming leaning back in the seat.

Evan brought a leg up to his chest, resting his head on his knee as he listened.

Connor continued humming, zoning out for a moment. The song soon ended and he smiled, glancing over at Evan. “Well, you like it?”

Evan shrugged, nodding. “I mean- it’s like most of their songs. But it’s good, yeah.”

“Yeah, it can get kinda repetitive, but it’s good,” Connor said, smiling. “I don’t listen to a lot of their music, but- Oh, dude, there’s this one artist who’s made an insane cover of Eleanor Rigby, it’s so f---ing good.”

“Oh, I love that song “ Evan said with a small smile.

“It’s such a good song, like- And the cover? I’m obsessed, I love Cody Fry,” Connor said with a chuckle, smiling.

“Never heard of it,” Evan said softly.

“Do you wanna hear it?” Connor asked, looking over at Evan with a grin.

“Sure, why not,” Evan said with a small smile, so grateful he could ignore his meal further.

Connor put the song on, leaning back into his chair as the instruments played. He glanced over, watching Evan. “Hey, make sure you’re eating so you can take your meds, okay?” He said gently, setting his phone back on the table.

“I- I’ll just take the meds. I’ll be fine,” Evan mumbled, frowning.

“You sure?” Connor asked softly, watching Evan.

“Yeah, I’ll grab them,” Evan said quickly, standing and starting towards the kitchen.

Connor furrowed his brows, watching Evan. He wanted to ask more, but didn’t want to pry too much.
