Evan made his way to the cabinet, taking the small compartment with his daily meds, listening for Connor for a second before pouring them into the trash. He gulped some water, heading back into the other room.

Connor hummed softly to the music, now scrolling through his phone. “You feeling alright?” He asked gently, watching Evan. -

“Yeah! Great, why?” Evan said quickly, sitting back in his seat. -
“I mean, you didn’t eat your food, so I was just wondering-“ Connor asked, looking over at Evan.
-
“Oh, I’m just… not hungry,” Evan said softly, shrugging.
-
“If you’re sure,” Connor said, nodding a little. “So uhm, do- do you wanna do anything in particular today?”
-
“Uh, not really, I’m kinda tired,” Evan mumbled softly, rubbing his eyes.
-
“We could hang out in your room if you want- Or I could like, leave if you want to get some rest-“
-
“Uh- I don’t care,” Evan said, shrugging. “Evan, can you come in here for a minute?” His dad called, making him start to panic a little. “Uh- yeah-“
-
Connor looked over, running a hand through his hair.
-
“Did you take your meds?” His dad said, crossing his arms. “Uh- yeah-“ “Then why did I just find them in the trash?” He said in disappointment.
-
Connor furrowed his brows, pausing his music and standing up.
-
“I- well-“ Evan said nervously. “Evan, those cost money, y’know? Just because you don’t want to have them- know what, just, go to your room, your not getting your radio back,” He said angrily, shaking his head.
-
“I- I’m sorry, this is probably my fault- I wasn’t paying attention and I- I said I’d make sure he took his meds- I’m so sorry-“
-
“No, Connor, this isn’t your fault,” His dad said softly, rubbing his face. Evan groaned angrily, turning and starting towards the stairs.
