“Yeah- It’s always been kind of like, an escape from the world for me,” Connor replied, nodding. “Same with running and music and art, I- I kind of have to keep myself busy or else my mind starts to wander to- places,” he added, chuckling softly. “It’s nice to zone out while skateboarding and stuff, though~”

“That’s nice,” Evan said with a soft smile, watching Connor for a moment. “What other art have you done?”

“Mostly just doodles and stuff, but I like to draw and paint people and scenery,” Connor replied, a small smile on his face.

“Well, you captured my good looks very well in that painting~” Evan said with a chuckle. “You’ll have to show me more of your paintings sometime.”

Connor blushed a little and smiled, nodding. “For sure~”

Evan chuckled quietly, nodding and leaning against Connor’s side.

Connor blushed, kissing the side of Evan’s head with a lovesick grin on his face. They soon arrived at Connor’s house and he walked over to the car, humming softly.

“I can just- bike home if you don’t wanna drive,” Evan said with a shrug.

“No, it’s all good- I don’t mind~” Connor replied with a smile, kissing Evan’s cheek. “Means I get to spend more time with you~”

Evan blushed, chuckling as he rolled his eyes. “Youre such a dork-“

“Mm, but you love it~” Connor said with a playful smirk, chuckling softly as he unlocked the car.

Evan rolled his eyes, giggling as he let go of Connor’s hand and headed for the passenger seat. “Shut up-“

Connor chuckled and followed, opening the door for Evan before walking over to get into the drivers side.

Evan shut his door, getting buckled up and leaning back in his seat. “How long have you been able to drive?”

“Probably since I turned 15, got my permit as soon as I could,” Connor replied, chuckling softly.
