“Woah, really? That’s kinda cool,” Evan said with a chuckle, looking over at Connor.
-
Connor chuckled, nodding. “I wanted to be able to drive myself to my friends’ houses and stuff, so as soon as I could I got my license~” He spoke, buckling up and starting the car.
-
“That’s smart, honestly,” Evan shrugged, nodding.
-
“My mom couldn’t drive me around much, anyways, since she was always so busy- Still is, too.”
-
“What kind of doctor is she?” Evan asked, furrowing his brows.
-
“Uh, I forgot what it’s called, but she’s like- she always has to be on call in case if she’s needed or whatever it is,” Connor replied, running a hand though his hair as he pulled out of the driveway and headed to Evan’s house.
-
“Huh, okay,” Evan said, nodding. “That must suck- not having your mom around a lot.”
-
“Yeah, it definitely does,” Connor said, nodding a little. “I mean, I’m the only one ever really home nowadays, anyway- My sister’s apart of the theatre at school, so she’s got rehearsals most of the week.”
-
“Aw, man,” Evan said softly, frowning. “I’ll try to come over more- keep you company.”
-
“Aw, more Evan time? I’ll gladly take that~” Connor said a lovesick grin, offering his hand to Evan.
-
“Oh, shut up-“ Evan said with a chuckle, flushing red and playfully swatting at Connor’s hand.
-
“What? I mean it~” Connor said with a chuckle, offering his hand to Evan again.
-
“Me too,” Evan said with a chuckle, taking Connor’s hand after a moment of though.
-
Connor smiled, gently squeezing Evan’s hand as he drove. They soon arrived at Evan’s house and Connor parked the car, unbuckling and letting go his boyfriend’s hand.
-
“Alright, I’ll see you,” Evan said as he unbuckled and opened his door. “Thanks for driving me~”
