“What, don’t want me to walk you to the door~?” Connor teased, chuckling softly.

“Well, my dad would get all weird-“ Evan said, chuckling awkwardly.

“What do you mean?” Connor asked, furrowing his brows a little. “Does he- does he not like me?”

“What? No!” Evan said, frowning. “No, he really likes you- I just- I dunno. I don’t think he knows we’re like… together. Or that I even… y’know.”

“Oh- OH, right, yeah-“ Connor said, nodding. “Well, I mean- I can still walk you to the door as a friend, right?”

“Uh- yeah, I guess so,” Evan said with a quiet chuckle, opening the door and stepping out of the house.

Connor smiled, shutting off the car and getting out. He walked around to the back and opened up the trunk, grabbing Evan’s bike.

“Oh, thanks-“ Evan said with a small smile, grabbing the bike once it was out of the trunk. “I can take it from here-“

Connor nodded, letting the wheels touch the ground before letting go of the bike and letting Evan take care of it.

“Thanks,” Evan said, moving to their garage and opening it. He ducked under it, leaning it against the mostly-empty garage wall. “Well- this is kinda the door I use- so- I’ll see you later? Actually~”

“Yeah, I’ll see you later,” Connor said with a smile, running a hand through his hair.

“Bye,” Evan said with a chuckle, turning and heading inside.
