Connor felt his phone buzz and he pulled it out, texting Evan back.
no, im not
u wanna come over?? -
yea
ill bike over
be there in a bit
Evan said, climbing to his feet and heading down the stairs -
kk see u :)
Connor smiled a little before laying down on the carpeted floor, staring at the ceiling as he listened to the music. -
About half an hour later, Evan knocked on the front door of Connor’s house, his bike neatly rested against the side of the house.

Connor jumped up and rushed downstairs, going to the door and opening it. “Hey, baby, come on in~” He said with a smile, backing up a little.

“Hi~” Evan said with a soft smile, walking inside. “How are you?”

“I’m alright,” Connor said with a small smile, running a hand through his hair as he shut the door. “How’re you doing?”

“Good, yeah,” Evan said with a soft smile, watching Connor for a moment. “God, it’s still so weird to see you and try to connect your voice-“

“Does my voice not match how I look or somethin’?” Connor asked with a chuckle, resting a hand on Evan’s back as he led him to his room.

“No! Well, I don’t know,” Evan said with a chuckle, shrugging. “But I just- I made up how you looked in my head when I couldn’t see- and now I just kinda have to throw that all away-“

“Yeah, that’s fair,” Connor said, chuckling softly as he pushed open his bedroom door. He walked over to his bed and flopped down, sighing dramatically.

“Are you tired?” Evan said with a chuckle, walking over to the edge of the bed and standing there, watching Connor.

“Eh, a bit- I didn’t sleep too great last night,” Connor replied, chuckling softly. “My legs also kinda hurt-“

“Oh, I’m sorry,” Evan said, frowning a little and hesitantly moving a hand to rub Connor’s back. “Can you- you can take them off, right?”
