"Well, I can't remember if it was actually ours or a stray that kept coming because I would feed it so often," Karl replied with an awkward giggle, running a hand through his hair.

“Ohh, that makes more sense,” Nick said with a laugh, nodding. Noodle at that very moment went to climb on top of Nick, pushing him down onto his back, he almost squealed as the dog climbed up and started licking his face. Nick tried to block the dog with his hands, still giggling as more dogs noticed and came to help Noodle.

Karl watched with a lovesick smile, giggling as the dogs ran over and piled on Nick. "Okay, okay, give him some space," he laughed as he reached to pull away some of the puppies.

Nick giggled, sitting up once he could and setting Noodle off to the side, rubbing his head gently. “Thanks for the help, solider-“ he said as he ran a hand through his hair and found his hat - it needed to be snatched away by a puppy - and securing it back on his head.

Karl giggled, smiling at Nick. "Told you they could get rowdy," he said as Rex and Tex ran over to the brunette, jumping into his lap. He laughed as he pet them, the two pups yipping happily.

“Nah, I think they just love me the most,” Nick said with a chuckle, petting Noodle as the dog slumped against his leg.

"Oh hush," Karl said with a frown, trying to hide his giggles. "They've known me longer, plus I give them all the treats~"

“I think Noodle here would say otherwise,” Nick said with a laugh, gently petting the dog as it rested its head on the ravenette’s leg. Noodle let out a deep breath, barking at other dogs as they ran by for no reason.

Karl shook his head and giggled as Rex and Tex barked at Noodle, tails wagging. "Just wait until I bring out the box of treats, then we'll see who loves who more," he teased, smirking.

“Well, okay maybe you don’t need to do that,” Nick said with a chuckle, petting Noodle, who was barking back at Rex and Tex.

"Just wanted to be sure we're clear on who's in charge," he teased, giggling. "I'm only joking, of course. There's enough pups to go around."

Nick laughed, nodding his head. “No, I gotcha.”
