Uh, I think I’m gonna go check on the dogs-“ Eloide came out of the kennel room, smiling when she saw Nick. “Hey, you’re back! How’s it going?” “Uh, good, good,” He responded with a shaky smile, heading into the dog room.

Karl watched Nick walk off, a worried look on his face. "I- I didn't do something wrong this time, right..?" -
“What? No, no!” Nick waved his hands around, shaking his head before walking into the dogs room. Eloide paused what she was doing, furrowing her eyebrows. “Okay, maybe he’s not okay. Do you know what’s up with him?”
