what if, in the last one before karl goes back to the first timeline,
karl becomes kind of the "toxic/abusive" one bc of pure desperation and wanting to be with nick,
which adds to him not wanting a relationship when he comes back to the original one bc he's scared he'll hurt nick, or smth like that-) -
(hmmm maybe we could do the actor ones now?)
