i don't really wanna do like, some sort of audition process, so we just gonna skip that lol
also, what if it was like, one of them is an actor and the other was like, one of the producers or the director of said movie or smth? or should they both be actors??) -

Karl hummed anxiously as he got out of his car, grabbing his script and coffee before shutting the door. "I hope I'm not late, I hope I'm not late, I hope I'm not late," he mumbled as he sped walk to the theatre, entering the large building. He rushed past the empty ticket purchasing area and through the large doors in the middle, heading to the stage where people were stood, chatting as they waited for rehearsals to start. He huffed as he climbed up the steps and onto the stage, exhaling with relief. Good, it's not started yet, he thought happily, setting his things down on the edge of the stage. -

Nick was sitting on the edge of the stage, his feet dangling as he animatedly talked to one of the other actors. “No, yeah, this is my first time in a major roles.” “Wow, lucky,” His friend responded, who was sitting next to him. “Was your audition really good, or?” “I dunno, they just liked me, I guess.” -
imsoclueless SeniorKarl exhaled as he sat down on the edge of the stage, grabbing his script. He glanced over as he heard two guys nearby chatting loudly, spotting the raven haired boy he sought out so many times before. A small smile appeared on his face as he watched him for a moment, quickly looking away to not draw attention to himself just yet. Maybe I can impress him, right? I mean, it's almost worked before, so maybe this time...

“Dang, you’re really lucky, then,” His friend said, clapping him on the back. “I cheer you on from the ensemble, I guess.” “Hey, that’s important stuff, too!”

imsoclueless SeniorKarl snuck another glance at Nick, watching him for a moment with a smile. Moments after he directed his attention over to an older man and woman who stood on the ground in front of the stage, waving to get the attention of the people on stage. The woman introduced herself as the director, gesturing to the man and introducing him as the assistant director. They continued to talk and explained how the rehearsals were going to go. Karl watched with anticipation, mentally preparing himself for the work they were about to start.

Nick had noticed Karl sneaking glances at him, and he decided to ignore it, continuing to talk to the friend he had made. He stayed quiet while the directors spoke, nodding along respectfully.

imsoclueless SeniorThe director called for the leads, gathering them into a circle. Karl stood and grabbed his script, walking over.

Nick also grabbed his script, following along and standing beside Karl. The director told them to introduce themselves by name and then by character. It went around the circle until it got to Karl, and everyone looked at him expectantly.

imsoclueless SeniorKarl jumped in and introduced himself, smiling warmly at his fellow cast. He looked over at Nick, watching him with a smile.

“Hi, Karl,” Nick said in unison with the rest of the cast, waving a little as he smiled.

imsoclueless Senior"Hello~" Karl replied with a giggle, waving at the small group of leads and their understudies. He looked back at Nick, waiting for his introduction.
