Selene shook her head. ‘No, just a simple sleeping spell. She’ll wake soon.’ Selene picked her up and walked over to the bed.

"Alright." Ernest thought for a bit. "Welp, I'm going to go give Callisto a piece of my mind. Want to come with, or would you rather stay behind and take care of Mahina?"

Selene bit her lip. ‘That wouldn’t be wise, child. Callisto could do the same thing to you without hesitation.’

"Names Ernest." He corrected. He was getting tired of getting called 'child' or 'human' by everyone. "And I don't care."

‘Fine, Ernest. You should care.’

"Why?" Ernie asked, shrugging. "The one thing I had going right in my life was Mahina, and we both know how that's going." He motioned to her asleep on the bed.

Selene pursed her lips. ‘If you confront her, you’ll forget Mahina even existed.’

Ernest stopped. He sat down on the edge of Mahina's bed, covering his face with his hands. "What are we going to do?" He mumbled.

Selene looked at him in sympathy. ‘We wait, I suppose.’

He gave a small nod after a bit. He could be patient... Maybe. "What if that doesn't work?" He asked, voice much, much smaller and hushed than usual.

Selene smiled softly. ‘I think you should stay with her. She might listen to you,’ she said with a sigh. ‘I’ll go look for reverse spells.’ -

Ernest doubted she would, seeing as she didn't even want to talk to him earlier, but he nodded. "Sounds good." -

Selene nodded and walked out of the room.
