"Nope." Selene stood up, stopping her. "Number one, as your caretaker, it is my business, and number two, if you're not going to talk to us, you're going to get some rest, no arguing."
-
Mahina tried to push past her. ‘I don’t even know you!’ she argued.
-
Selene's jaw clenched. "Rest. Now."
-
‘You can’t tell me what to do.’
-
If looks could kill, they'd be planning Mahina's funeral the next day. "Oh, yes I can. Where are you even going?"
-
(I’m stealing that quote)
‘Anywhere but here. Also none of your business,’ Mahina said, trying to push past her again. -
(Go ahead lol)
"What would you do then? You don't have money, the only people out there you know are your parents, and only god knows what they'd do if they saw you, and you'd probably get yourself killed in the process, and besides, I'm not trusting you out there after yesterday." Selene knew she definitely didn't remember what happened the day before. She also knew that she didn't particularly care. -
(Much appreciated lol)
‘Yesterday? What happened yesterday?’ Mahina asked. She looked at Ernest, then back at Selene. ‘Let me out!’ -
Selene shook her head. "You became wanted in one of the villages, and could've gotten yourself killed. Ask this one, he knows all about it." She pointed to Ernie.
"Hey!" Ernest argued. "...It's true though, I do know all about it." -
‘I’m not talking to him.’
-
Ernie grimaced, looking down. He tried not to take offense to it, knowing she wouldn't say that if she had her memories.
-
Selene sighed in exasperation. ‘Get into bed. We can only hope you’ll get your memories back soon.’
‘No!’ -
"Get some rest, please." Ernest mumbled. "So we can figure out how to get your memories back while you sleep. So you won't get so upset when we ask you so many questions about your memories."
-
‘You can’t tell me what to do, either of you!’ Mahina argued. ‘I ought to-‘ She gasped as Selene’s wand pointed at her, emitting a faint white light. Her eyes closed slowly and she collapsed into Selene’s arms.
Selene looked at Ernest apologetically. ‘It’s easier for both of us.’ -
Ernie glanced at Mahina's limp body and then at Selene. "You didn't do any dangerous spells, did you?" He asked. He didn't peg her as the type, but still figured it was better to be safe than sorry.
